Does the OR give your new address to creditors?

I.e If I went bankrupt living at address 1, then handed keys back to OR to hand back to mortgage company
Would they then give out address 2 to creditors?
Or do they just contact the creditor and say Mr Bloggs, account 1234 is BR
Or do they say Mr Bloggs, account 1234, 1 Smith Rd is BR
Also I would feel much better giving my keys to the official receiver to deal with in an official capacity rather than the mortgage company, please could you tell me if this is possible, I would want the debt included in my BR but the person I will be going to live with does not want me going BR at their address. Fair enough I guess they dont have to help me out.

Hi,
At least indirectly, yes.
Whilst you are undischarged you have a duty to inform the OR of your current address. If you go BR at address A, then move to address B, you must inform the OR who will then update the public register on the IS website.

How long does that stay on there for?
One year?
Will it affect the person who I move in with?
Their mortgage is with one of my creditors (approx 2.5k)
What I am asking as well is how does he/she contact the creditor with relation to me?
Account number, name, address?0 -

Giving the keys to your mortgaged property to the OR is not an option.
If the lender has a high street presence, you could put the keys - with an explanatory note - through the letterbox when they are shut.0 -
Could i do that after I am declared bankrupt but before my discharge?0

Any time you like.
They are your keys, you can do what you like with them.
The act of disposing of the keys has no official meaning.
The note is much the same, it's information for the lender and will probably help them to decide what to do next.
They will almost certainly repossess the house, but that is their decision, not yours.0 -
If I give them back after BR though (before discharge) is it still included in my BR?0

as said no matter...but DO NOT sign anything the mortgage co send you as you could that way be liable for any shortfallWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

So just to clarify, I can post the keys back after Br but before discharge and I am not liable for the resultant shortfall?0

Yes.
Whatever you do with the keys has no bearing on whether the mortgage shortfall will fall into bankruptcy.
But as you've been advised, sign nothing in relation to the mortgage from this day forward.
This is because some lenders will try to trick you into taking responsibility for the shortfall.0
