hi,just asking regards were my uncle stands with a newly agreed offer of settlement from rbs for his ppi charges from 5 years ago,my uncle is currently on an iva and is paying £244 a month since this was arranged 3-4 years ago, he has another 18 months of payments left until this is settled, yesterday however out of the blue a letter arrived from rbs stating they are willing to pay him £3056 within 28 days if he accepts this offer as settlement of his ppi charges, what he wants to know is will the company he has an iva with be contacted about this settlement and if so will they ask for it to be paid to them or for him to clear his debt asap out of this money, tia
