hello,
i have a question, hoping someone can help me find the answer.
my partner is a stay at home dad to our 3 children, our youngest s disabled and has other care needs too.
i currently work 16 hrs a week, my partner claims carers allowance for our son. am i right in understanding that from april i will have too find another 8hrs work a week? that for couples it is changing to 24hrs per week?

It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -
just where the heck does the government think people will find these extra hours? It's hard enough trying to get any job. people will just give up work if they can't get more than 16 hrs otherwise they won't be able to afford their childcare if they get no help. Hardly going to help the economy that.0
