advice on buying a mira shower

Options
i am looking to replace my existing trevi therm shower and shower cubicle.
have looked at steam cabins but am a bit wary of the reliability plus difficult to source an 800mm size.
think i have narrowed my search down but need to decide between mira discovery or mira excel, both built in with fixed shower head, there seems a big difference in price between them.
can anyone offer any advice or opinion on either of these please.

thanks MRSTITTLEMOUSE. i know the excel is the more expensive and has 4.8 litre flow rate the discovery has 10 litre flow rate.
i guess the excel is more economical to run, does this mean it is not as powerful a shower when using? havnt really got a clue on what the differences are!
it does say the discovery has a concentric flow where the excel says seperate flow which i havnt a clue what this means.
have not been able to find any local shops with them on display or in stock hence my questions here.
    thanks for replying to me.
  • Good evening: have you been on the Mira website? My OH recommends the Mira Element to his customers.

thanks for that canucklehead. have checked the mira website now, theres even more mira showers than i realised!!. if possible i wanted a shower with the temperature to be able to be fixed for safety when the grandchildren stay, dont think the mira element has that option.
managed to find the mira discovery shower on display in jewsons after going to every diy shop and bathroom salesroom i could think of, realise now the discovery also doesnt have the water temperature safety option either.
thanks for your help with the mira website.
