Hi Bought my Mrs a laptop last xmas paid the money up front and took the rest on credit(£300) , planning to pay off before end . Now heres my problem i can't remember what the guy at best buy said! Something like make sure i pay off most of the balance before the Deferral period end date 30/12/2011 but not to pay whole amount as i would have to pay early settlement fee ( i got most of this ) but reading what it says from HC now savvi interest is being accrued from the purchase date and i'm sure the salesman said interest only starts once the first payment is taken . So do i pay the settlemant fee £29 or (tonight i paid £286) risk the interest being on £14 or £300 (interest rate 21.10%) .I'm sure others have done this in the past anybody let me know , thanks for you help

ps newbie am i in right section? If not please mods can you thanks
