Left mouse button on trackpad not working

Hey everyone.
This problem has literally started within the last hour.:think:
The left button on my laptop trackpad isn't working anymore. I can click the trackpad to open links etc and right click works fine.
I've had alot at the mouse properties in Control Panel and nothing has changed.
I changed the right button to "click" and that worked fine. Changed left button to "shortcut" menu and nothing happened when I pressed the left mouse button.
I've restarted my laptop and the left mouse button still isn't working.
I've tried a USB mouse and that's working fine.
The laptop is a Sony Vaio and I'm running Windows 7 64bit.
Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem?

Okay. It's working now. Typical.:o
It's not as "loose" as before. I have to press abit harder than normal.
I cleaned the left mouse in the grooves between the trackpad/rest of the laptop and now it seems to be working.:o2019 Wins
