    Maybe it depends how many are in the car? A friend- family of 4- went to France last year between Dec 27th & Jan 3rd (ish) and it was far cheaper by ferry but less convenient with small children in tow!

    Cheapest one i could find, do you know what site it was booked through? Only me and my partner in my Fiesta. Cheapest I have got is £86 return.

    I've booked the hotels now :) Leaving on the 16th returning on the 20th. Just need to sort out getting there.
