La Manga Tennis Holidays

Hey guys,
Me and my boyfriend are tennis mad and for so long I have wanted to go on one of those La Manga Tennis package holidays. I'm in need of something to look forward to this summer so am considering booking this year.
Just wondering if anyone's been, what kind of facilities there are, what kind of standard it is, how much it costs, how long to go for etc.
What's the cheapest way of doing it? I haven't got masses of money!!

Great facilities, great location - not expensive if you know how to do it.
Cheap flight to Alicante or Murcia.
Cheap hire car through agency like ebookers.com
Book accomodation directly from an owner - small ads in Sunday papers normally have them or try https://www.ownersdirect.co.uk ( look up La Manga club in Spain )
Book tennis courts and/or tuitition as and when you need them.
Always, always, always eat in local restaurants away from the La Manga club where the restaurants are very expensive.
There is a vast tourists area called La Manga strip nearby with loads of cheap bars and restaurants.
Good luck.0 -

But most are closed 'out-of-season', so be prepared to drive up the 20km of the strip to find something if you're not there when the Spanish are.
At that time, it may be worth trying the restaurants of the few hotels that are open.
Or you could try the Barwell 'free' flight offer!0 -

Ahem ! ( *** coughs politely in the hope that people will read the original post thoroughly before responding *** )
Actually the nearby village of Los Belones has a number of excellent value-for-money restaurants open all year round.0
