Put in a PPI claim on 30th Aug with Black Horse.
Loan was from 1997 to 2001 for £5000 with PPI added depsite me saying I did not require it.
Was given the usual story of No PPI= No Loan etc.
Black horse has replied today saying they have no record of the loan.
I have lost original paperwork and loan account number.
My bank have been most helpfull and are sending a statment from a random month in 1999 to show the direct debit to black horse.
Whats do I do next ?????

A direct debit to Black Horse MIGHT show the policy number. However, it will not show whether this included PPI.
You also need to bear in mind that Black Horse is a separate legal entity from Lloyds TSB and FOS has no jurisdiction that far back.
I think you stand very little chance of success, I'm afraid.0
