Generali

Just seen in the 'nice people's thread' that Generali has decided that he needs to focus on work for some time and isn't going to be posting anymore.

Sounds like bad news for the rest of us. Generali's posts are always well informed and witty and it's certainly a loss to this board.

I've been thinking about giving it up too and this news pushes me closer. I spend too much of mine (and my employers!) time on here when I have the opportunity to contribute much more at work and make more money as a result. I'm also trying to find 10 - 15 hours/ week to train for an Ironman triathlon.

Actually, I think I've made the decision.

Just when things were starting to get interesting...the little boys are running away.

Perhaps we should have a thread where quitters could make their predictions before going?
    I think....

I would have found this out if I ever read this thread. I am not without standards and morals, but I am generally 'evil' and could never be correctly termed 'nice' [and wouldn't want to be for that matter]. Hence I always ignore that thread. I know my place.

What do these people post all day? [forgive me, but my principles prevent me from opening the thread]. I can only assume it's all "Can I sell my pension, lol, smiley smiley,...." and "I don't think you can loveytune rofl, lol, more smiley smiley, ..."?

Anybody thought of opening "Nasty People thread part 5 - evil and backstabbing all the way."?

Just chitter chatter about chickens, books people have read, what a bad day we're having *hugs*, bits and bobs about general life, random questions ..... and nice things.

Kittens, bubble baths, swan pedalos, holidays ... you know, nice stuff.

I wonder how long you will last, posting such vitriol towards a respected forum member who is a gentleman, & has supported and assisted so many of us, with incredible patience and grace.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
