I'm trying to find a compatible usb (can't be PCI) device that will work within windows 7 media center.
I (wrongly) assumed any device with a BDA driver would work, but the 2 boxes I bought from ebay (some cheap chinese rubbish) just crashes, and the 2 replacements do the same.
I used to have a compro s350 PCI which worked perfectly, but now I'm using a mini PC I only have the USB option.
I looked at the Compro videomate s900, on website sites like scan it doesn't list it as media center compatible, but then again my old compro s350 was listed like that and it works. Another device I'm looking at is a hauppauge win TV nova HD s2
I know they work in dvbdream and other tuner programs, but they're all a bit crap and not a patch on media center (needs to be wife friendly).
Anyone confirm if either of the above are ok, or if not recommend an alternative? Will be purchasing 2 as it will replace my sky HD box and dual LNB. Had a look on google but no one seems to confirm the s900 working or not.
