Surely this cant be legal?
Bought park tickets from travel republic but chose not to pay the extra for special delivery (it defaults to recorded delivery).
Got an email from them now saying that it'll take an extra 7-10 days to post because I didnt choose special delivery.
No idea what the post method has got to do with how long it takes them to post? Basically, its cough up or we'll mess you around on purpose.

Isn't that pretty much standard practice? ie if you book with less than a fortnight to go a lot of agents won't post anything out at all, as theres no guarantee you'll get the tickets etc before you fly. You'd pick your tickets etc up at the airport.
Sounds like travelrepublic are just covering themselves by giving you the possible 11-day spiel - you may get your tickets etc sooner than that.0 -

No they said they wouldnt be post for 7-10 days.
Anyway, special delivery isnt really that much quicker than recorded, is it?0 -

It's a bit cnfusing having two threads as I have responded already on the other one.
However recorded is standard mail so not guaranteed, special delivery is guaranteed next day delivery.
