Terms and Conditions:

Opening/closing date & time:
Entry into the prize draw opens on Monday 5 September 2011 and closes on Monday 12 September 2011 at 06.20 a.m. as stated on ‘Daybreak’ (the “programme”).

Eligibility:
Entrants must meet the following criteria:

(a) Must be aged 18 or over;
(b) Must be a UK resident, meaning they must ordinarily be living in the UK for the duration of the prize draw and the relevant dates to take up the prize;
(c) Must not be employed or engaged by the Promoter, producers of the programme (the “producers”), Tourism Australia or Qantas Airways Limited (the “prize providers”) or companies within their group of companies or be a live-in partner or immediate relative (i.e. mother, father, son, daughter, brother or sister) of an employee of the Promoter, producers, prize providers, or persons professionally associated with the prize draw;
(d) Must not be aware of any reason as to why they would not be granted a visa to Australia;
(e) Must provide their own travel insurance to take up the prize;
(f) Must be available to be contacted and for filming purposes or otherwise, on specified dates, including but not limited to dates during the week beginning 12 September 2011, week beginning 3 October 2011, and must be available to take up the prize between 4 and 14 November 2011, and/or on such other date or dates as may be specified by the Promoter and/or producers; and
(g) Must be able to bring along a companion who must meet each of the entrant’s eligibility criteria as set out in these terms and conditions, including without limitation, being a UK resident aged 18 or over.

THE PRIZE

The prize is a trip for fifty (50) winners and one (1) companion each to Australia for eight (8) nights (the “trip”). The prize includes the following:

Outbound economy class flights for each winner and their companion from London Heathrow to Sydney, Australia on Friday 4 November 2011;
Economy class internal/domestic flights (where required) from the airport in Sydney to one (1) of the following four (4) Australian states as chosen by the entrant at the time of entering the prize draw: Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria or Queensland. Please note internal flights are not required if the winner has selected New South Wales as their chosen state;
Ground transfers from the relevant airport in Australia to each winner’s accommodation in Australia, and then to the relevant departure airport on Sunday 13 November 2011;
Inbound economy flights for each winner and their companion from one of the following airports in Australia (depending on the Australian state chosen by the entrant at the time of entering the prize draw): Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney departing Australia to London Heathrow on Sunday 13 November 2011;
· 8 nights’ accommodation in a minimum three-star quality hotel on a bed and breakfast basis based on each winner and their companion sharing a twin or double bedroom; and
· A minimum of four (4) excursions for each winner and their companion to a tourist attraction in the relevant chosen state in Australia, a welcome activity and meal on the first day of filming in Sydney on 6 November 2011, and three (3) additional hosted meals during the winner’s stay in the relevant chosen state in Australia.

Each winner and their companion must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Australia. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip. Each winner and their companion must provide any details requested by the Promoter or prize provider to take up the prize which may include without limitation their full name (as it appears on their passport), their date of birth, gender, nationality, passport number, country of issue and expiry date (or alien registration number where applicable).

It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) organize and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party (ii) ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs, and (iii) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the prize providers. The winner and their companion must not be aware of any reasons why they would not be granted a visa to Australia. Neither the Promoter nor the prize providers will sponsor any visa applications. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize providers of any wheelchair or other access and/or meal requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

In addition to these terms and conditions, the flights are subject to the Qantas conditions of carriage available at https://www.qantas.com. Flights are subject to availability and flight dates and times may change. Qantas may refuse to carry any person who does not have the legal right to enter Australia or who does not comply with the Qantas conditions of carriage. Airline tickets will be e-tickets unless determined otherwise by Qantas. The time of travel on the relevant dates will be determined by the Promoter and/or the prize provider. Frequent flyer points or miles or similar credits for Qantas or any of its partner airlines will not be earned on these flights. Qantas standard baggage allowance (23kg) applies.

Each winner and their companion will, in the sole discretion of the Promoter, be required to participate in promotional activity relating to the prize at any time, including but not limited to being filmed during the trip, taking part in interview(s) for live or recorded broadcast in the programme and/or on the website or other media as may be applicable.
