Yes, you should lie. That's always a winner. Why not lie about your circumstances and say you live alone when infact you're married? Oh how about saying you're disabled? More money for all!0 -
esog - because they would find out.
But if im abroad for one day not on my sign on day how would they know.
I dont mind if they stop my money, for a day, i just dont want to go through rapid reclaim again, espically cos im on a course 4orm jobcentre 3 days a week.0 -
I thought you were working and thinking of quitting ?0

I already quit.
Let me rephrase my question, are you even allowed to go abroad if you on JSA, or will they sanction you.0 -

In reality if you are away for one night, and it doesn't affect your signing on day they won't know about it.
Whether it's right or wrong to tell them is your choice, as a tax payer along with all the other tax payers I can say that it is wrong.Per Mare Per Terram0 -

and of course, if you do this, they will definitely find out.
You are not entitled to JSA if you are in another country.
It's up to you whether or not you tell them, but what if they need to get hold of you and want you to come in? It's a risk that only you should decide whether or not to take.0 -
It wouldn't matter. Let's say you leave the UK tomorrow and come back Friday. You are in the UK on each of Thursday and Friday even if only for a few hours so you wouldn't lose any payment. If i go abroad not on my siging on day will the jobcnetere can find out, if so how?

unless they try to ring them and get the international dialing code .. or if something was to happen whilst on holdiay involving hospital treatment etc ..In reality if you are away for one night, and it doesn't affect your signing on day they won't know about it.
