Barclays PPI timescale - rantless

I've recently accepted an offer from Barclaycard who have said they are going to pay into my bank account "around September" but have not given my any kind of timescale to work on. I understand there have been a lot of claims, but I was one of the lucky ones to have a quick response.

It's only been 1 or 2 weeks since I've returned the acceptance form anyway, but I'm a complete newbie to this, how long would I expect to wait to receive payment?

I have not dealt with this bank myself, but in my experience of other banks, it taken out 21 to 28 days after sending back the signed acceptance form.
Hope your not waiting too long, but there is no harm in giving them a quick ring to check, they should be able to confirm when, good luck.;)
