    If you're worried...pay up.

You don't have to, but if you're frightened by bits of paper then maybe paying is safer.

You forgot the likes of Parking Spy will always try and say the payment was late and they want more money (in the hope of getting more money from suckers whom pay them).

That they will. but savvy MSE'ers who frequent the forums know better
  • Hi everyone,
I received a "fine" yesterday from ParkingEye for parking in Morrisons for an hour longer than I should have. 3 instead of 2 (I needed to do extra shopping!) Ok I was in the wrong and I was prepared to learn from my mistake and pay up £40 (rising to £90 if not paid by 8 Nov!!!) That was until I came on this site.
I'm glad I checked these threads from MSErs. I now intend to ignore my begging letters safe in the knowledge that these cowboys will not see one penny of my hard earned cash.
  • How could you be in the wrong spending more time and money in the shops than perhaps you intended? Shops are struggling for custom and should be more afraid of empty car parks than a few customers staying on to fill their tills. I would send a stiff letter to Morrisions and perhaps if enough people do likewise, they will not sell their customers down the river to a bunch of scammers. Welcome to the Ignore Parking Eye Club, there are many of us on here.
Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!

Might be worth checking the planning permissions of that store to see if they mention anything about parking limits, and do write a letter to the manager saying that due to spending several hundred pounds in his/her store you have received an invoice from parking eye, and due to that you shall be shopping at *name local rival* as they don't harass customers whom spend money.

Ignore Parking Eye, they are useless at everything they do

This includes sending out an "invoice" for £0 to somebody over on PePiPoo.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

What, a true invoice for damages suffered by the landowner for trespass?
  • Second warning letter received from ParkingEye today! I have until tomorrow to pay them £40 otherwise it rises to £70.
It's not gonna happen - keep sending me letters cowboys! In fact come round to my house and send one personally.
