Sky + hd recording problem

Hi

We have sky+ hd and we seem to have problems recording programmed, particularly HD channels. I have set series record for programmed e.g. The Borgias, but unless I start watching the programme and then select record, it doesn't record.

Haven't spoken to sky yet but that is a job for the next couple of days.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problem, thought it was just my box that was at fault ...now I see it isn't so I will be contacting Sky today.

Do you have a Thomson HD box, by any chance? We had to have an engineer out a couple of weeks ago, he took one look at our Thomson box and said they all had a fault and needed to be swapped over, so he switched it for a newer and smaller Amstrad box and that works perfectly.

I don't think so. I have looked at the box and can't see Thomson written on it anywhere

Ours is playing up tonight too and wont record on HD channels. Will ring sky tomorrow as they charge enough for bloody HD !
