Morning all,
A nice early morning one for you all that is doing my head in, I have IE7 and every time I try download / install dowloaded media IE7 hangs with the download box readign "Verifying download" at first I disabled verify download certificates in advanced settings but this didnt fix the problem, I then thought it may be because i was using a "Google customized" version of IE7, I have downloaded and installed the microsoft version and have the same problem. It takes 15 mins to run the "Windows advantage" install took me less than 5 mins to download 99% of IE7 and then 15 mins to "verify download" .
I have run windows defender no spyware found, I have cleared all history / temp internet files and installed the new phishing performance update from microsoft hopeing this may fix the problem, I dont have the phishing filter enabled and still have the "verifying download" problem. I have also checked that there is no unkown add-ons running.
I have now run out of things to turn off, Anyone else having this problem or is it just me ?
