Washer drier advice needed !!

Does anyone know of a good washer drier - or if there are ones made by major manufacturers under a cheaper brand logo - i seem to recall a thread on tvs that could be bought cheaper this way. cheers for any help .

Got an AEGa couple of years ago to replace a 15yr Hoover WD and it's superb. Dries quicker and runs far more quietly (it's in the kitchen so it was an issue).

Wasn't cheap though about £450 if memory serves correct.

Trying hard to be a good moneysaver.
