Irony / sarcasm detector meter is wavering ... not sure which way to go .... hmmm ...

Just in case there was a genuine question there (!), the retained meter readings from the old house came in very useful when Scottish Power online bills were completely unaccessible for months on end, and I needed to go on comparison websites for new contracts. Would have been stuffed without my notes on backs of envelopes (very useful things, backs of envelopes!)

Spoke to them and they won't charge the £60 termination fee if I move out of this property before 31/12. Thanks a lot.
Will make sure to take a proper meter reading and keep it.
Got rid of all my credit card debt, reduced crazy utilities bills, learned to budget, and now trading down to a smaller property. Lurking around the DIY forum.

Would they still charge if you opened a new account with them at the new place?
