I have had my eye on this Sony 32” TV
Yesterday when looking at their site it was on offer as a package (TV half price Blue ray & free Sony WI-FI dongle).
Did not have enough to buy it outright, but went in and talked to a staff member, was informed that they had no Sony Blur rays, but could still buy the package & collect the machine at a later date (said it could be a couple of weeks, which is fine with me. I paid a deposit of £100 & took the dongle with me.
I was looking at my receipt & the player I bought BDPS380 is listed at £94.95 & at half price should be £47.46, however the receipt says £59.95.
As it was auto generated how likely am I to get the lower price if I complain about it?

I would say you might well do. It may only be £12, but the company definitely has the ethos that an extra £12 discount will pale in comparison to the repeat business from yourself and your friends you tell about how great they were. So, yeah, go in and ask.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
Some items in Richer Sounds have an "online discount" or "catalogue discount" that you need to mention at purchase.
They are an excellent firm and from my experience will fulfil an advertised price even if the "shop" price is higher.
They also have the best staff of any high street electrical store in my view.0 -
I'm going back tomorrow to pick up the TV & will ask then, as far as I can see there player has only 1 price http://www.richersounds.com/product/blu-ray/sony/bdps380/sony-bdps380-blk (don't know what went wrong with the other link), however it does say that they are down to the last few so maybe they have charged me half the price of what they will be when they come back in stock, anyway as I say I can have a word tomorrow (well later today)0

Just got the TV & asked about the price difference, it's down to the fact that they the £94 is region 2 & this will be multi region, he apologised for not telling me on Monday & i'm happy with that.0
