Dave, you appear to be equating being right with being polite. (If you don't understand the difference, maybe astrophysics isn't for you)0

Hi ViolaLass, I appreciated your constructive post and answered it politely I think (I certainly meant to!). I am not an expert forumite and maybe therefore fall short in terms of forum etiquette - I apologise if that is the case, but I have very strong "feelings" and react to the impolite, insulting, and personal attacks from others.
In future I will try to curb my defensive reactions and stick to facts and the help i hope to give to others, but I expect other forumites to do the same.
For the interested amongst you I will try to give updates on my progress and experiences as I think it will be a positive for many. I hate threads that just die and leave you wanting more information.
BTW congats on your new baby, enjoy as it's the best (but sometimes hardest) time of your life.0 -
Having just wasted a good 20 minutes reading this thread, I can't say that the replies surprise me, given how rude you've been.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I have looked in to it, on and off for a few years now and I simply cannot afford it without working full time. What works for one doesn't mean it will work for everyone else. If I ever get the funds together I will be going to Uni, part-time in the evenings, to further my career.Professional Data Monkey

Indie kid - please feel free to not waste your time further and not contribute anything more to the thread (oh sorry forgot you haven't actually contributed anything yet). Please see below for an example of a contribution.
Hi Szam, don't know your age or circumstances but any help I can give from my experiences and investigations I will gladly provide (without prejudice or judgement - a refreshing change to the norm on this forum)0 -

Just four posts ago, you told me you were going to curb your defensive reactions...0 -
That was the curbed version!0

I don't tolerate stupidity
I don't tolerate ignorance based criticism.
I don't accept biased and ill informed judgement.
ha ha, I've changed my mind, maybe it is worth the tax payer's money to get you into counselling to help you with the above inadequacies. Thankfully you will never get to the point of actually practicing!0 -
Hi Fbaby, another poster who has to use an anonymous alias to hide behind, typical of bullies actually.
Those "inadequacies" are highly valued assets in senior management circles.
As far as practicing is concerned you may or may not be correct, that's your opinion based on ignorance, but at least i will have tried, and grown myself along the way, rather than wasting my twilight years writing purile forum posts (over 8000 - how do you find the time) on subjects I know nothing about.0 -
Read: people who are bullies don't agree with me.
That's what it sounds like anyway.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
