Today is a momentus day for me. :DSince i had my lightbulb moment last Sept i have ben working at clearing my overdraft by doing lots and lots of overtime. Today for the first time in nearly 2½ years my bank account IS NOT IN THE RED !!!!!!:j. Added to this there is only 4 payment left on my Barclayloan im starting to believe that 2007 is gonna be the start of something good.
After that its only one more debt to clear.

Well Done!
For me not having an overdraft was a real boost, before I would think that another £10 wouldn't matter but now I am so loathe to go overdrawn I would rather go without.
Now cancel/ reduce the overdraft so you're not tempted again......Saving for an early retirement!0 -
Props!
I've managed to pay £1000 off my overdraft, but the rest is interest free, so shall keep that a while longer...Student Loan Company Ltd: 17,805 (2.8%) Overdraft: 500 (Interest free)

I'm on track to clear £1000 of my overdraft from my second job, and hopefully will get reclaimed bank charges around £985 which will clear our overdraft completely. I cant wait as going by the bank statements we seem to have been overdrawn for most of the last 5 or 6 years. It always used to be depressing spending large amounts of money because we didnt know if we could afford it as we never kept track of money. Now, it will be a pleasure to spend when we know we have money in the bank. Cant wait for that day!
Well done you.
