Hi,
what it is, I currently have NTL Broadband and it is connected to my PC via ethernet connection. I also have a laptop and I want to set up a wireless connection...now, I have a 'Wireless G USB Network Adapter' (made by Belkin) and a 'ADSL Modem with High-Speed Mode Wireless G-Router' (also made by Belkin) however I cant seem to get this set up right. Do I have the right things? is there anything else I should get?
Help appreciated!
Thanks.

If you are on cable (not BT line), then a cheaper wireless dsl/cable router is needed. Why did you buy the adsl one?

If your laptop has wireless built-in, then you wouldn't need the usb adapter..Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
Yes I used to be with BT then my line/internet etc got changed. And yea it says it has built in wireless but when I connected my router etc. it wouldnt pick up a signal-then when I put the USB Adapter it worked.0

most laptops have a switch to turn the wireless on, it's either a physical switch or a keyboard combination (e.g Fn + F5 (it varies from brand to brand) at the same time).
DSL/Cable routers have one ethernet input for the WAN/cable modem, and 4 ethernet ports for the PC's, whereas adsl models have one input for a phone line, and 4 ethernet ports for the pc's.
