tax credits still not renewed!

Just wondered if any one else was in the same boat, and/or advise what i can do!!

I posted my renewal forms back (and tax credits have said they received them) in early may 2011. Since then i have called on average every 2 weeks, wrote two complaint letters and my MP has also contacted them... and I STILL havent had my award finalised. Everytime i call i get fobbed off, one advisor did say i maybe owed some money back so dont know if this is causing the delay, but since that call everyone just says they just say to wait, and they wont confirm or deny theres money owed.

Just called again, spent 13 minutes getting through to be told yet again to hang on, i said i'd now been waiting 4 months, and what their maximum timescale for cases to be dealt with was... the young man without a hint of irony said all cases are finalised within 8 weeks of them receiving the paper work, i referred him to his previous statement that they had received my paper work on 13th may and he said "oh yeah that is a while ago" but again just said i had to hang on for the award to be finalised. I again asked about the money owed and he said he thought there might be some owed but i wouldnt know until the award was finalised...

I'm at my wits end.

Thanks very much just fired off a quick e-mail, see if she gets back to me.

What makes it worse is at work today was speaking to someone who "forgot" to renew, only realised when they stopped her payments last week she called last weds, had an underpayment in her bank monday, her normal payment and documents today!!!!

Yet i've done everything by the book and been messed about.
