    Hello all
First time I've done this - I sent off the form and 5 dates and 5 places and today I've checked my account and the chq was cashed on the 30th Jan. So when will I hear? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for my first choice of dates - not really worried about where ......
My Mum and Dad said that they wished they'd known about the vouchers/offer as they would have liked to come along too. Do you think they might do the offer again before the summer comes?

When you get the details of your holiday thru' with the final balance to pay total phone whoever it is (Haven for me) and ask if you can add people to your booking, I did and have paid 2 x £9.50 and entertainment passes cost so that my neice and nephew can come along too.

The Sun booking info states that you cannot change the dates or park however it doesn't say that you can't add more people. I'm not saying you can definately do this but I did and we upgraded the caravan for £30 so we had an extra bedroom.
All in all about £60 more to pay for the 2 extras but it still worked out £150 cheaper than booking from brochure or on-line. HTH

    No, you can't:

I think anyone who has used their reference number to make two bookings might find one of their bookings is cancelled.

I used the booking reference to make two bookings but this was as soon as all the codes were available. I suspect the sun spotted this loophole and closed it quite quickly.
I have received the booking confirmations from both of the parks so any MSE's who have made multiple bookings should be ok too.

    Hello
I've gone frombeing excited to in tears! They picked my final date in my final choice of area, and we have to pay £72 extra. I phoned up the park - they can do nothing apart from she told me to sell the holiday on. It was my only weekend choice when I had also chosen weeks in Oct and Easter and May and it was the most expensive weekend incurring an extra charge for peak times. I had also ticked the box that said I would accept any park in the cornwall area - I assumed that this meant that the charges would be capped. I was told that linen and entertainment passes didn't have to be taken up - but the service charge was £4 (I thought it was capped at £3.75) and the peak timecharge had to be paid for. I said it was really upsetting - we would be travelling with 3 children 1, 3 and 5 all that way in peak traffic just for 3 nights. I was given the Sun's number but the phones aren't being manned until 1st March. I feel really upset ( I know perhaps I had built my hopes up) and perhaps I was expecting too much. But I really thought that we would get a weeks holiday in May in Cornwall - when I ticked the any park box rather than a peak weekend in July in Devon! These were our final choices ( in fact I shall check my form- I did photocopy it!). Also the extra £5.50 for peak time has to be paid for all persons even 1 and 3 year olds. I know it's my own fault and for the 100s that are going to be happy some will be disappointed!

I didn't put my two year old on the form. Haven doesn't issue passes for under fours so I didn't bother putting her on the booking. Will that be a problem? Help!

To book online you need a priority reference code which would have been posted to you if you were eligible.

You then enter the codes from the tokens online. You get instant confirmation.

If you dont have a priority code you will have to send in the tokens and form via the post.
  • hi i have been with the sun holidays before and i normally get a reference number but i have recently moved so how would i get my reference number thanks :(
