I got my confirmation this morning. I got my second choice park and my last choice date. Unfortunately it means i have to take the kids out of school for 2 days but beggars can't be choosers.

Now I just have to find the extra £40 that they want LOL

Question - As there are only 3 of us do I still have to purchase 4 ent passes and 4 lots of bedding? or will they let me just order 3?

You will be able to purchase 3 entertainment passes - we did last yr - I think we got charged for 4 originally on the invoice but then called up to pay and asked them to change it. Not sure abt bedding - thought it was a set price - ie not per person

Hi this is the first time ive ever done the sun holidays and its been nearly 3 weeks i think roughly since tokens went The money hasnt gone from my account yet and ive heard nothing atall ...

any ideas when ill hear somthing or should i ring somone ???

well my cheque was cashed last week ,and IIRC last year,it was a good week or so before i then had a confirmation letter after cheque was cashed

If you havent been successful they will return your cheque ,so they will contact you regardless

Don't forget as well peeps that you don't have to purchase entertainment passes for under 5's.

I was billed for 6 of us, and rang and told them that 2 of the 6 were under 5, they deducted the cost, wasn't a problem.:T

Don't forget as well that you don't have to get the passes or bedding.

We went last year on a Sun Holiday and took our own bedding and didn't bother with the passes as we just used the park as a base and knew we wouldn't use the facilities.

I am thinking about taking our own bedding but as it is just a weekend, the park facilities will be our holiday. Going out and about will just make it more expensive as we will have to shell out for bus fares.

Hey ... well i was just wondering whether to ring the sun holiday number yet or wait a while longer ?? no money has been taken from my account and ive heard nothing atall!

this is the first time ive done a sun holiday so not sure how much longer to wait ! ..

Definately wait a while longer .. I was a priority application and money only went out of my bank a few days ago and I am yet to receive my letter from them. if you aren't priority application and it wasn't a Feb date it could be a while yet . You will either have your cheque cashed or get it back if you are unsuccessful.

I wouldnt worry yet piratess,i am yet to recieve confirmation but the cheque has been cashed.

I remember panicking last yr lol and it seemed to take forvever !
