hi chrystal
welcome to mse.
if you don't have to pay mortgage till 28feb, best to use it to pay off one of your loans. also council tax generally paid over 10 months so you should have 98 pm available.
can you write APR on all your cards/debts? then we can advise you what to do nextTH0 -
Hi Chrystal,
Welcome from me too.
Although you don't have much slack in your budget most people manage to shave quite a bit off their grocery bill. At present I'm cooking for 5 adults and I'm trying to spend around £30 to £40 a week. I find it easier if I supermarket shop only every other week and get a top up of veg etc at a cheap local shop (I live in London so there are loads around me). Sounds like you're doing pretty well on that front anyway but there might be room for a bit more savings.

Try eBaying, Mystery Shopping, Car Booting - you can do all these even if you have to have your children with you, and they will earn a few pounds. Then use it to pay something off a high-interest debt.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
I'd echo what's already been said. Don't panic if you don't get many replies in the middle of the night and if people don't reply it is because things can get easily missed. Sophiesmum has done a fab job with your SOA for you and you've had some good advice already. Just really wanted to say hi :hello: and stick with it and you'll get there.Making my money go further with MSE :j
