hi chrystal
Try not to panic too much.
Firstly have you put your details into the https://www.entitledto.co.uk website to check if you are entitled to any child tax credits or working tax credits - it is worth checking.
There will be people along to help you soon. I'm sure there will be ways to get some savings on your budget to help you with the debts.
Also check out the moneysaving old style board for tips on how to cut down on food shopping and cleaning budgets etc.
Good luck

hi Chrystal
Just a tip, if you sort your budget out a bit more people will be able to analyse it a little better.
Try and get everything on monthly amounts,at the moment some things are listed as monthly and some as weekly.
Separate daily living expenditure from the loans and credit cards, makes it easier to sort out.
It takes a little time but will be much clearer once you have done it and people will be able to see much more clearly where the cuts can be made.
You have done well sorting out the amounts, just needs a little tweaking here and there.

Definately have a look at the entitled to site as i think you should qualify for some tax credits even if it is a small amount - it all helps.;)
Well done on posting, it is always hard taking the first step but tomorrow all the regulars will be around and you will get lots of help and suggestions.
Don't worry about the budget stuff, that can come later.

Looks a bit clearer for you now.
Your priority debts have to be the mortgage , polltax and secured loans as these are the ones that keep a roof over your head.
Have you tried applying for any 0% interest cards to transfer any of the balances to?
sophiesmum0 -
Hi Crystal,
As sophiesmum has said your priority debts are the secured ones, mortgage etc, these must be paid before all others.
Might be an idea to contact the CCCS or Payplan or one of the other free debt management companies, they will tell you the best course of action for your situation and help you negotiate with your creditors if thats what you want.
There will be more people along later with really great advice.
Good Luck and keep posting / reading these forums, the wealth of experience and advice is 2nd to none.
JulesDebt at highest May 04 - £65,639.22 - Started DMP with CCCS 1st June 04 & now self managed DMPDebt now 20th December 2015 £31677.13 Paid Off to date £33962.09 - just not going quickly enough!
