anyone know of a good resource for grant giving organisations? (for grants for adults, individuals with disabilities; most i find are for children or families)
funderfinder has shut down and frankly the turn2us site i find a bit unhelpful.

http://www.disability-grants.org/grants-for-disabled-adults.html
www.grantsnet.co.uk
www.mfip.org.uk - this is for Merseyside, but includes many national charities and trusts
www.grantfinder.co.uk - subscription only
Another alternative is to google 'grants for disabled people', 'grants in London' (or wherever you live), 'grants for disabled adults' etc.
ETA - some main libraries have a funding information corner, which includes books of grant giving charities and trusts that are updated annually. There is a book specifically for grants for individuals. They are usually reference only, but you might be able to take out a copy of last year's ediction - some things might have changed, but much will stay the same.
Also google grants for individual occupations if this is relevant.0 -
great start, thank you0
