Does anyone know if you can use a bus pass on this bus?

You cannot use a bus pass on this as, despite the appearance (rubber tyres, runs on the road, etc.) it is considered a train service rather than a bus.

The whole thing is a bit of a con, really: £1.50 each way for a journey that would be easily walkable, were it not for the fact there is no pavement. I always resent paying First Capital Connect for this one (especially as it was free before they took over the train franchise), but cannot find any way around it.

Sounds as annoying as the closed gate between LAP and the retail park next door meaning you need to walk the long way round, thanks FCC.

Thanks for the reply about the bus pass being invalid.

The only way I can see around it is to get the train to Luton station and catch the Stagecoach 99 service that runs up to the airport at 40 mins past each hour and returns at 5 mins past each hour.
