Motorbike parking on the outskirts of London

I need to be in Central London (Covent Garden) area for a few hours on Friday. I'll be riding down from the north on my motorbike. Looking at maps etc I was thinking that maybe leaving the bike at Cockfosters and getting the tube into Central London might be a good option. I notice they have an NCP car park there. Does anyone know if they charge for motorcycles and if so is there anywhere else you could recommend to park. I'll be coming in from the M1. I'm thinking that by the time I get into central London about 11ish then all the parking bays in Central London will be full.

This site might be of use to you. You would find motorcycle bays in the City of Westminster area at 11am but you have to register with their pay by phone parking system to be able to pay the charge of £1 for the day.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding somewhere to park if you don't mind paying £1. I work around there and there have always been spaces so far, even when I'm running late.

Not sure about the free bays- I expect they fill up first. It's still a good bit cheaper than the return tube fare anyway.

NCP offer motorcycle parking at a good rate, not sure what it is now, it was £3.50 per day.

M1, down the A41 and you'll be at the Euston road before you know it.
