First Adult Passport?

I sent off for my first adult passport monday and was wondering if it really will take 6 weeks to come back as im due to go to turkey on the 7th october.

my wifes was renewal from a child one and my daughters is a first child one.

they were all sent using PO check and send.

  • it took about that for my sons was waiting for the appointment that seemed to take the time , once hed had that , he had passport with in a few days
    i did do it more than six months b4 the holiday , id be a bit scared if id already booked the holiday they do say not to do that hope u sort it in time

    I did a renewal for my son at the beginning of June via post office - they said it'd be two weeks it was nearly 5 weeks.

    You can always chase your passport online using the barcode off the top of the application form.
