Hi Chat Forum onliners

I switched from Powergen to BGas in May last year and have NEVER received a bill from BGas since then!!! In the beginning they didn't even recognise me as a customer even though they were pocketing my direct debit  After three months, and no bill, I began calling BGas, the nightmare began!!!! I have a record of all the people I have spoken to names, dates, and drivel... my most recent call today with a BGas Customer Liason Mgr (CLM) advised me that there was a problem with my set-up communication between companies and BGas hands were tied at the moment waiting for info, I do not want to be landed with a huge bill for this 8 mth period of BGas incompetence. The CLM has said I will receive compensation with my bill but she said that she may not hear anything for another 3 weeks.. I’ve heard that before!!! She mentioned energywatch, saying if I reported the matter to them they would take the case off her.

Does EnergyWatch charge a fee? Can they help me with the above... I just want to get this sorted so I can switch asap and run like hell from BGas!!! ;)

:money:

My father inlaw had a very simliar problem with this company. He recieved no bill what so ever for 12mths and tried each month to call them asking for a bill. He was told that they never had any readings from him, he provided them and once again no bill was sent out. After 12mths of no bills he called energy watch who then taken the deatils and contacted the company direct on his behalf. Then Bgas asked for meter readings and then slpped a bill in excess of £500 through the letter box. My father inlaw then called Bgas and said he was not paying that amount as it was his error, Bgas advised he would be taken to court for non payment. Energy watch where contacted again and they spoken with Bgas who then admitted there error. Bgas then scrapped the bill and we started again with new readings. May I add they have never missed a bill now.

Hi Marcellep, just to let you know I did contact energywatch they were helpful too the point that they provided me with a direct no. and contact name to BGas after many phone calls to this person I was sent a whopping bill which I contested and after much ado they took off £150 of the bill...result!!! as soon as I get the green light to switch, I'm leaving BGas in a flash, never to return!!! A tip to anyone when you switch do not use energyhelpline as I did, apparently there was some problem with me transfer from Powergen to BGas. Use USwitch they are recognised by energywatch
