Cheap student insurance's?

Hi,
I'm currently looking for a cheap insurance for my laptop (only). As I'm going to uni' soon and I feel safer knowing its insured.
The cost of my laptop is: £750.80
Brand: Dell
Model XPS 15
I'd like accidental damage, theft and power surge cover.
So far I've been to quite a few websites and found out 'Insureandgo.com' provides the cheapest insurance at £48.40 for the whole year - with a £25 excess.
However, can anyone tell me if they know a cheaper insurance company, please?
Michael.
PS: I do have my other electronics but since I don't have much money, I can't insure everything - plus it's not as crucial. So I only plan to insure my laptop as it contains my works and personal files.

You may want to check what cover you get from insure and go. For instance most policies will only cover theft of items from locked premises so if another student wanders in through your unlocked door and nicks your stuff you won't be covered.
We have recently received details of a policy through Endsleigh from DD Uni which does provide this type of cover. It costs around £8 per month with a limit of c£700 - sounds a bit steep but at least we won't have to pay for another PC if the worst happens.
Try your Uni pages as some Unis already provide limited cover and you can "top up" as per the Endsleigh one. You could also ask the question via thestudentroom as some others may also have asked similar.0
