Please read and if you feel as I do sign the petition below. Fight the man
Thank you

The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to
purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it. The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver. A non working Mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month. On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast
you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit in
time you can probably expect a Notice of Intended Prosecution with your monthly bill.
If you care about our freedom and stopping the constant bashing of the car
driver, please sign the petition on No 10's new website (link below) and pass this on to as many people as possible.

Thats disgraceful. The cost of it in reality means nothing, we all know they'll find another way to take our money. But to have a tracking system on the car makes me sick.~~Peace~~0

I HAD thought that an online petion directly to No 10 was a hoax - but it's not. Was I the only one not to know ANYTHING about The PM's online presence?Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.0 -

Looks like I'll be busy signing petitions for the rest of tonight (better than moaning and doing nothing- even if Tony ignores it...

Will pass this on, but to be frank, armchair supporters are not whats needed.
B Liar Uk Ltd will laugh in your face - correct.
example, London congestion charge. All it needed was for everyone to park up and leave their cars - yes in the middle of London, now where's it got them, and us ? seeing as its such a succesful tax.
Wish I'd never read this post, yes I WAS at Stanlow, no I'm not a lorry driver, I was fighting for people
and armchair supporters0 -
Do you normally have to pay to sign a petition? Should this be here??0
-
I have also signed the petition.0

Where do you want me to park Mon tracteur?0
-
I was going to sign it, - only because driving is the only answer other than expensive and unreliable bus-based transport, - however, I note they want more roads built - so I'm not signing. The answer to reducing congestion is providing more trains, which are cheaper & more frequent.0
