Just bought a new Bosch KGN39VL30G online with Laskys best price with 4% off discount voucher also got cashback from mirror cashback. Has anyone managed to apply for this Bosch energy cash back that some of the sites are knocking off their prices?"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

We've just had all NEFF appliances installed in our new kitchen. Can't comment on them personally as we haven't used them yet, but we heard great things about them (and my parents have NEFF everywhere and love it). Our kitchen fitter is a registered NEFF supplier so got everything at significant discount (practically half price). I don't think I would have paid list price for the stuff, so if you are interested in NEFF it might be worth seeking out your local NEFF-supplying kitchen fitter and it may work out cheaper overall.0

Hi
For the sake of clarity, do you mean the person that actually fitted your kitchen or the company that has supplied you with your kitchen that has a showroom? Also how do you know you got your Neff appliances at half price?
I'm asking because as far as I am aware in order to have a direct account with Neff you need a showroom and have the product on display.
Thanks

Currently torn between Bosch and Neff - Neff seem to have the "name" but there is just over price £300 difference between the two in favour of Bosch so am moving that way unless I can find a reason to specifically avoid Bosch which I haven't yet.
On another note, I do think Neff also make it very diffcult for the consumer having so many appliances and five different series. I am told that you should buy everything from the same series so the controls etc match but the oven and hob we want is series 4 (I think) yet the extractor and microwave are series 2 and I am afraid they will look totally different - the Bosch range just seems easier to navigate!0 -

Not at all. All Series (apart from Series 1) will match in with all the others. This didn't happen with previous ranges, but Neff realised they were missing out on sales, due to, for example, having to have everything Series 5, just because someone wanted one oven with the flexi-rail system.
With the current range, you can happily put a series 5 oven, with a series 3 microwave and a series 2 hob.
I've never been sure why they've defined their hoods into Series (other than a quick way of telling how expensive it'll be). Any hood will go with any other appliances...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Oops, forgot to mention this bit.
There isn't a reason to avoid Bosch, they are still quality appliances and are essentially just Neff or Siemens appliances without all the bells and whistles, such as all Neff ovens having Circotherm as standard etc etcIf it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

We just bought a Wickes 'take away/off the shelf kitchen' and it is fantastic.
We bought a good quality walnut worktop and nice appliances and it looks very expensive.
Homebase when we looked seemed to be quite poor quality in comparison.
B&Q : nice but pricey and a bit too fashionable.
Most of the utilities are in the utility room so only experience with non built in appliances.
Bosch IMO are the best, we have a Bosch washing machine, dryer and a fantastic tall fridge freezer.
The dishwasher is just a slimline cheap job so not applicable but the oven is AEG (we decided to keep the previous owners oven in our kitchen as it was so good).
We had AEG at our last property as well and were very pleased.
My parents have Siemens and the washing machine is now 8yrs old and not once had a problem, they are all brushed stainless and really do still look the part. But, they are £.
SIL has a SMEG fridge - they look funky but not pratical for our family.
Miele... if only... I had a miele hoover.
Dyson cannot come close.0 -
FWIW I love my Bosch washing machineIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

I have a Neff double oven. Neff Hob, Bosch dishwasher, Bosch fridge freezer in the kitchen. In my garage I have a Zanussi washing machine and a hotpoint tumbledryer. I used to have a Rangemaster Hob and double oven and I really liked that but thought for a change I got Neff. Neff is a bit boring after Range Master I have it in black but it hasn't let me down yet. I usually do a lot of research before I buy an appliance and check on Which."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
