can anyone advise please. just got back from taking my grandson on hol abroad. he borrowed my camera to take pics of his new friends on our last day there(my mistake for giving camera to a 9 year old) just realised he has deleted probably around at least a 100 pics by mistake.
have been on internet to research if they can be retrieved, a site called stellar phoenix has retreived some but i cancelled the recovery incase i was doing the wrong thing.
can anyone tell me if i have now lost the pics off the sd card that stellar phoenix have retreived without paying them(i dont mind paying but dont want to give my bank details to a company i have never heard of.
would be gratefull if anyone can advise the best way for me to retreive the deleted pics

    The best I've used:

Just had a look at the Stellar Phoenix site. I assume you downloaded their software and ran it, but it won't let you access any recovered files until you pay. Is that the case? If so, hopefully their software hasn't modified the card at all and you can use it with the free software I linked to above. If Stella Phoenix has modified the card in some way, they have probably made matters worse.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

i downloaded the software from stellar phoenix, clicked on the retreive process, the deleted pics started showing on screen, but i stopped the process incase i was making a mistake.stellar phoenix wanted name, e mail address and didnt make it clear what the charge was for the pics so i cancelled the process.
thanks for the above info, will have a look at it
