Forgive me in advance if i don't make sense, am in the middle of fibrofog & can't seem to get my thoughts in order.
Bought a rain jacket from there, i was ok when i bought it.
Had a massive flareup, meaning i was unable to return the jacket & actually forgot about the jacket in my drug induced state, so didnt call the store in advance
Tried to take the jacket back (2days after the 14 day period) as i can no longer do the zip up. My hands are now the size of hams & know they take months of treatment before flare-down.
Am i within my rights to get a refund or would i be forced to accept a gift card?.
Thanks for your thoughts x

My thoughts are, if there is nothing wrong with the raincoat then you will have to take what they offer if anything."The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Unfortunately I think this is a straight case of 'customer changing her mind' and as such, they don't have to refund (or even exchange) your item. You might appeal to their kinder nature by showing them your ham-sized hands and looking a bit sad and pathetic, so it's worth a try.
But if they insist on the gift card, you can't really expect anything more.
Hope you're feeling better soon
