Groupon Bed Offer

Looking for some advice...
I purchased a Groupon code for a double bed, advertised as coming with a mattress that has a 1 year warranty, for £69 (total bargain), as opposed to the normal selling price of £199.
Groupon emailed me today saying that 'due to a publishing error' the bed doesn't actually come with a mattress after all. They offered me my money back.
The deal has now closed (over 1700 people bought it!) - but on viewing the details it still stipulates that the mattress is included.
Do they have a right to do this, or are they bound to offer the bed and mattress, as this is what I originally paid for, and what they advertised?
I'm wondering if this was just a ploy all along by crazypricebeds.com, as their site said nothing about the offer at the weekend when the Groupon email came out, but now has it all over the site, offering a mattress for 'an additional £99' which it did not mention when I bought the deal.
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks,
Dee

5.3 When a Voucher transaction is complete: When you go through the procedure for purchasing a Voucher, after you have confirmed your acceptance to these terms and conditions and after we have taken payment (by debit card, credit card, Maestro card, American Express, or PayPal) the transaction is complete (and a contract for Purchase is made) only when we email you confirming the transaction (which is our acceptance of the transaction). We keep a copy of the contract between us - and you are welcome to print out these terms and conditions from our website as a record.
Did you receive the acceptance email?0 -
People make mistakes. And any bed that costs £69 including mattress will be horrible well within the year anyway ;-)0

it looked good that bed. It was hotukdeals top deal yesterday so even with just a bed its a bargain. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Yes, I received the email and the voucher now, but it's the description that has the error -- Groupon told me to 'ignore any previous advertising'
I know it's super cheap for a complete bed, but since it was originally £199 and it's supposed to be 'crazy priced' then I thought at least I'd get a semi-decent mattress for my guests to sleep on once in a while when they stay.
I already have a spare double frame, so I'm not that fussed about that - I really just wanted the mattress
Groupon have taken the money out of my account, but I asked for a refund - wonder when that will materialise?!0 -
Contacted Groupon by phone (020 3510 0410) for my refund as they hadn't replied to my email from Monday afternoon, and they still have my money. Only waited 4 mins to get through - was told the refund 'will take 5 working days' to credit my account. The guy forgot to go on mute as he was processing, and not only did I hear him singing,
I also heard him talking to a colleague saying 'don't raise the woman's hopes'... hmmm.
Let's hope this refund goes through on time so I can find a bed complete with mattress elsewhere!! :idea:0
