We decided against flowers in the church in the end as the prices started at £170 for church ladies! and you have to leave them. As it happens we were married just after Easter and the church still had a nice pedestal of flowers up.
 wow thats pricey.im not even having real flowers for my bouquet or flower girl wands so would ideally like to take them, but if they say no then we wont have any at all.i doubt many people would notice them, your in there for about 45mins so dont want to pay the £50 if we cant take them,BM would be in charge fo removing them if we could anyway

I did my own flowers, decked out the whole church for less than £100. (a florist would have charged me that for just one pedestal arrangement)

Ive also helped do flowers at another church where they charge £50. The ladies do an excellent job and it always look amazing. You have to remember that the ladies dont do it for profit, for £50 they arent even being paid, that will be the cost of the flowers alone. They do it because they love their church and they want it to look nice for your big day.
