Once they have done the credit check with Equifax, and then you apply for a loan is that it? Do they carry out any other credit checks?

    Thanks

They check Equifax, Experian and Callcredit.

In my case, they gave me a call to chat though my Experian credit file - why I'd applied for certain things, and what I used the money for. In my case I was moving a loan to them due to poor service at my current bank, so I explained to them exactly that. They also called at work to check I was there!

Money was in my bank about a week later, and a bottle of champagne sent to me to boot!

    Hope that helps.

    hi there all

Just wonderin if anyone in the know can help me out here

Ive been looking for a solution to my OHs Cahoot flexi loan crisis.

He has had his rate go u p & up recently, and would benefit from having something a bit more, er, predictable.

He is temping at the mo, although he meets his payments

Hes been refused a 2nd credit card ( he has one @ 0% to take half of his loan) and now needs alternative finance for the remainder of the loan ( 1500)

Would Zopa be able to help or not?

I think that the current referral deal is now over at Zopa. But I believe that there may be another one on the horizon. Check out http://uk.zopa.com/ZopaWeb/ now and then.

That's rather cynical. I'm sure that the lucky person who opts to take up the offer could anonymise the screenshots they provide, if they have any nous.
