I just clicked on the Apple website and reviewed the new iPhone and iTV systems. Wow, those are really cool gadgets! Can't wait for them to go on sale. Anyone else check them out?
The new iPhone combines Google maps/Earth, internet browsing, photo's, email, phone conferencing, and a camera too. Amazing! Steve Jobs has outdone himself this time.
I wonder how this will measure up against Blackberry, and Nokia?

The iphone looks fantastic. I won't have to carry a phone and an ipod now. Any idea when they are coming out?0

Not iphone for long! Cisco have a VOiP product called an iphone.. yesterday they filed a lawsuit against Apple as it's been protected since 2000 and CISCO gave no permission to Apple!

True, be careful though. Using it for phone, music and video will obviously drain the battery faster. The battery specs seem okish, but in the past Apple have never been great with regards to battery life, and especially replacing batteries.
Plus you'll be carrying quite a pricey piece of kit around with you even when you may only need one of those functions.
Both are nice, and work simply and integrate easily, but neither do what is already out there, apart from the touchscreen, but that has its advantages and disadvantages."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
its nice to see apple being really forward looking - no 3g and no MMS. It doesn't do anything my exisiting smartphone can't do + I didn't have to pay for my exisitng phone and am only tied into a contract for 12 months

can you say 'over-hyped-fanboyism' ?0 -

I think Apple really missed a trick with iTV by not making it a PVR. To get the same functionality all you have to do is get a graphics card with a TV output - Or hook up a mac mini to your TV0
