Eon sales rep just knocked my door and...
A chap from Eon just told me that the welsh assembly government have asked them to offer advice to residents in Cardiff following complaints about energy price rises! Fairly sure the advice would have been to switch to Eon! AM and Eon complaints team duly emailed!

Sounds like that guy used to work for SSE, one of their standard welsh customer intro's to get you to leave current provider and join swalec! However as Helena says best thing is what you've done, complain, as Eon reps are not trained to conduct door to door canvassing in that way, and I agree all the power co's should stop door to door sales0
