Hi guys
I'm after recommendations for some video production software.
In my spare time I run a few poker affiliate marketing sites. I'm looking to expand one by including video reviews of poker rooms. I need to find easy to use software which I can
1) Add a constant logo in one corner
2) Most of the content will be from video capture using Camtasia or equivalent - will be several 'chunks' I'd like to splice together
3) Able to add in title and sub title slides
4) Ability to compress for uploading to YouTube etc.
any ideas?
thanks in advance

Hi Andy
Are you using a PC or Mac? i assume a PC as if you were on a Mac you would be using the software that came with the machine!
If you are new to video editing i'd try something user friendly like Sony Vegas Movie Studio or Pinnacle Studio (my first editing software). Both should do what you want and shouldn't burn too much of a hole in your wallet!
They usually offer a free trial so you can play about before buying anything.
If you were looking for something more professional and didn't mind spending a lot then I would recommend Adobe Premiere, think its the best video editor I've ever used!
Edit: Adding a few links for you

try Windows Live Movie Maker first it's free and if it does what you want then your set, if it doesn't you haven't wasted any money so you can buy something else.

Windows Movir Maker, or for more control try either Vegas basic edition, or the new HitFilm (hitfilm.com) is rather good as it includes a load of video effects at a very keen price for what it covers.0
