Installing 3com officeconnect wireless card issue

Tried to instal this 3com officeconnect wireless card 3crgpc10075 on a hp nx9010 laptop I get a warning box saying it hasnt passed windows xp logo testing and may impair or destabalize correct operation now or in the future win xp strongly recommends you abort this installation

Cant find anything on the net does anyone know why this is happening?

Do a restore point and then try it.. assuming that you are using XP drivers

(not all drivers have been tested by Microsoft)

Thanx Ive never done a restore point I'm used to win98 but could it be because there may be new drivers for it?

I looked on the disc and it says version 1.1 july 2005 but on the card itself it says version 1.0 and on the 3com site in the software downloads there is only 1 download and it says 03 march 2006 version 1.0.0.0 could I have an incorrect disc? the dates earlier but I thought 1.1 was more than the 1.0

I'd just try it, the worst that could happen would be the PC won't boot:eek:

Oh heck at the least! what would I do then apart from panic?

Thanx I got the software from the site and loaded that, its in now hope it will be ok anyway
