Hi, I have a little problem - when I press brake pedal - my side light come one... :confused: weird or what?? not sure what it is, or where the problem is... any idea?? thanks for anything...

    You have a bad earth connections on one of your rear lamps. When you use the brakes, the current is flowing though the rear lamp filaments to ground causing them to illuminate. Restore a good solid earth connection and the problem will disappear.

    damn you are good - I have been playing with my rear lights - connected something to them... and thats where the problem started - what i did I connected the live to live of the rear lights and neautral to neautral, so where do u think the problem is?

    Not sure exactly what you are trying to connect but you have effectively connected the brake circuit to the side light circuit, so I would disconnect it to start with.

    Edit: The brake lamp connector and the side lamp connector on the bulb holder share a common earth (chassis connection) so it sounds like that where you have bridged the two circuits. i.e. on the lamp holder, it is not live and neutral. They are both live (brake & side) with a common connection to earth though the body of the bulb.
