  • This may be a stupid question but how do they all get wedding dresses that fit perfectly without having tried them on before? Surely the length would need to be adjusted if nothing else!?

  • The shops will have a seamstress. A couple of brides I have seen trying on the dress have had the dresses "tacked" into shape which is why it looks so well at the fitting. The seamstresses will no doubt work on it overnight.

    Wedding dresses always seem to have a big amount of wiggle room, particularly when corseted.

    I did see one episode where a groom bought his size 10 bride a size 16 dress! :eek:
