What was the most recent one? Does anyone remember their names? There are a few on iplayer and i don't know which one it is!

Finally saw the Vegas one and was shouting all the way through it. Ended up more annoyed at the bride! Do people not understand the concept of this show? I seem to be confused as it appears that it is Don't Tell The Bride...but if you don't like the dress you can choose another one.
  • Can anyone give me a heads up on Tuesdays episode, looking on Iplayer for it but can only find old episodes from series 2, and 4!!
Vegas one was car crash wedding. Im sure its written in the contract if you dont go through with the wedding the £12k has to be repaid, Im wondering if thats why she went through with marrying such a selfish prat!
As for last weeks one, felt very sorry for him, obviously young, has no responsibilities and was trying to be romantic but like a lot of men they dont think about the little things! !!!!!!ing off 5 mins after marrying someone is not on, especially since he hadnt arranged for her to do anything else! He could of at least booked for a lovely meal or a show or something, how miserable would you feel!!
Ideas, help and advice always welcome, judgements and assumptions are not!!

  • I have heard (from someone who knows someone, so MAY not be true) that the infamous Vegas couple have divorced. :(

There wasn't a new episode this week just repeats. There will be a new one next week though I believe.

The couple from the beginning of series 2 (Nick and Laila) divorced really quickly too. I wonder if it is just about being on telly for some of them rather than thinking about the fact they are getting married, which is meant to be a life long commitment.

I agree that some of them seem to be in it for the tv. There was a couple in the last series that just didn't seem to ring true. There was loads of "I love you so much" and so on but it just wasn't...authentic.

I also agree with the stuff about the Vegas one. I started watching that thinking "Oh no, what are you doing?" then the bride and her sister started annoying me more. It's all very well to say "oh he's not thinking about her" but it's his wedding too.

It does seem to be getting more and more staged. The dresses all seem to fit, even if the groom has gone in with no idea of her dress size. The brides all seem to be really high maintenance but generally love everything anyway. And I really think they shouldn't be allowed to change the dress, unless it can't be resized to fit them, otherwise what's the point? If you're signing up for this you have to be prepared to lose all control over it.

I keep hearing about this new UK wedding show where 2 brides (obviously chosen by the producers to be complete opposites) have to have exactly the same wedding, or something?

When's that starting? (If anyone can deduce what on earth I'm talking about...)

I agree, really. If you're *that* choosy about any of the details I don't understand why you'd volunteer to go on.
I would NEVER go on, as I'm very picky and planning the wedding and choosing the dress/tablecloths/napkins would be 80% of the fun for me.
