OK after various problems that I think I may have solved (with the help of everybody on here, many thanks), I keep getting the following errors in my event log, can anybody offer any more advice?
1 the DHCP client service depends on the netbt service which failed to start because of the following error: a device attached to the system is not functioning
2 the TCP/IP NETBIOS helper service depends on the netbt service which failed to start due to the following error: a device attached to the system is not functioning
3 the following boot start or system start driver failed to load:
NETBT

You should find an Event ID number and Source information with the error messages.
Check out these Event ID errors and related sources here.0 -
The errors point to a network adapter problem. Go into Device Manager, right-click the network adapter involved (one of the errors may say which network adapter if you have more than one) and click Uninstall. Restart Windows and it should reinstall the driver automatically.0

It's a bit odd, because when I open device manager, it shows no errors with any of the devices?{Signature removed by Forum Team}0
